| This is something you don't see every day. Highway 64 was under construction for over a year. Traffic was re-routed and St. Louis residents had to make big compromises. As a "thank you" to the public, folks were allowed to visit Highway 64 on foot, bike, stroller, skateboard, etc. the Sunday before it was opened to traffic. |

people and taking photos. On day 2, I was taking photos out into the audience with my back to the stage. With the camera to my eye, a young lady tapped me on the shoulder. "Do you remember me?". I did. It was Rebecca Parker and she had played basketball at Washington University. together. Alli starts dental school at the
University of Illinois in Chicago on August
15. They all felt that this was the best family vacation ever! |

| My visitors for this week are the Alberts family from Smithton, IL. I got to know them when Alli played volleyball for Washington University. Alli just graduated in May and will be attending dental school. |

| More music. More photos. A story attached to this photo: Several years later, I was having dinner in The Royal Wolf with my good friend Mari Castello. As we were leaving, Julie was coming into the restaurant. I struck up a conversation with her and told her about this photo and that it was posted on my web site. She and her husband Matt have become good friends of mine. Julie and I sometimes hike together. Some of the notable performers were: Keb Mo, Gov't Mule, Johhny Lang, Grace Potter, Lukas Nelson, Sonny Landreth, James McMurtry, Jackie Greene, Betty Lavette and Carrie Rodriguez. |

| We went to hike the South Fork of Teton Canyon today. There was still a lot of snow on the ground so we were only able to hike about one mile into the canyon. |
