I had not been to the Friday night Rodeo in Teton Valley for quite some time. Some friends were going and invited me to join them. We all had a great evening!

A lot of the photos below are not of the greatest quality but they do depict what an evening at the Rodeo entails.

Comments about the photography:

The start time of the event is 6 PM and it goes until 10 PM. Thus the lighting will vary greatly as the evening progresses. Next time, I will have to mind my shutter speeds and kick up the ISO as the night unfolds.  Perhaps the next time I will set the camera to Auto ISO.

I took over 700 shots during the evening and wound up with just 198 after deleting out-of-focus shots. The Canon 5D Mark IV did a pretty good job with the shots but I believe my Canon 1Dx will do a better job with its faster frame rate and I think better ability to hold focus during a burst.
