My guests, Rich, Rosemary and Anna Bryniarski,
and I decided to do Yellowstone today.
The photo above was taken at the Brink of
the Lower Falls in the Grand Canyon of the
Yellowstone River.
The weather was not the nicest I have ever
experienced in Yellowstone but we had an
excellent day none the less. We had to cut
our visit "short" due to rain. We were still
on the road for a total of 15 hours.
The highlight of the day, other than Old
Faithful (NOT!), was the sighting of a
magnificent bull Elk. Anna got a number of
really good photos of it.
On the drive back to Driggs, we saw
mountains that had experienced snowfall
during the day. Grand Targhee also received
a dusting. |
