I photographed in Canyonlands National Park the afternoon of May 22.

As I had spent the morning at Dead Horse Point State Park, I thought I would catch Canyonlands National Park in the afternoon as they are fairly close to each other.

A story occurred at Mesa Arch:

This is a very famous spot and thus many folks take the short hike to see it. When I arrived there were quite a few other folks there as well which I fully expected. I usually try to wait my turn and try to catch a shot where there are no folks in the shot.

This young fellow totally ignored the fact that there were other people there and just stood in the way of others taking a "clean" shot. He even did this in between shots as he was directing his sister as to where to stand.

I spotted a VERY patient fellow that was waiting for this rude individual to finish. He waited for what seemed like 15 minutes. I had had enough of this rude person so I tapped him on the shoulder and pointed out that he was in the way of others.

The person that had been waiting took his shots and came over to thank me for interceding.
