Above is a photo from that day
of a Puma (taken outside through a wire fence).
I am enjoying
taking photos inside this winter in the Primate House.
The primates are housed behind glass windows but for the
most part the photos come out pretty well.
A few suggestions when shooting
through glass:
1. you will have reflections so try
to position yourself to minimize their inclusion in your
composition.
2. I read an article that suggests
using a polarizer to cope with this problem. I have not
tried this as yet mainly as that would reduce the light
for what already is a fairly low light situation. |
